About The Producers (Annie & Jan vanRozen)
Annie and Jan moved to Canada in 1998. Fruit and vegetable gardening originally started as a hobby but expanded to a business in 2009. Their first full market year was 2010.
Specialty Salad Mix is Always a Sell Out
They began with strawberries, raspberries and asparagus but their business has expanded to include over 20 different fruits and vegetables. Their specialty product is their salad mix. It is a sell out at every market and is often included in many of the food boxes distributed by the Clover Valley Farmers' Market.
Gardenhouse Addition
The recent edition of a large greenhouse will help them to achieve their goal to extend the market garden season - provide vegetables earlier in the spring and keep providing them later in the fall.
